Board Approves Two Administrative AppointmentsThe Longwood Board of Education is pleased to announce the approval of two administrative appointments.

Congratulations to Kimberly Longo on her appointment to the position of Director of Curriculum for ELA, Math, and Science.  Mrs. Longo began her tenure with the Longwood in 2004 as a teacher at Coram Elementary School.  In 2015, she served as a literacy coach, and in 2018 she was appointed as the Coordinator of Student Support Services.  Mrs. Longo has been an integral part of the school community serving on the Curriculum, Vision/Mission, and Reopening Committees. 

Amy Staubitz has been appointed as the new Coordinator of Student Support Services, replacing Mrs. Longo.  Ms. Staubitz was hired in 2013 as a kindergarten teacher at Coram Elementary School.  In 2020, she was hired as an instructional support coach where she worked collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure high-quality instruction in all classrooms.

Congratulations to Mrs. Longo and Ms. Staubitz. We wish you a great start to the new school year!
