HS Students Selected for NYSCAME All-CountySixteen students have been selected for the NYSCAME (New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education) All-County Music Festival for demonstration of musical excellence.

The following students have been chosen for NYSCAME All-County: Declan Kirby, Santo Villatoro, and Justin Yankow for Band; Derek Bechel, Nicholas Biancotti, Timothy Carullo (not in photo), Savannah Cole (not in photo), Tatyana Davis, Christopher DeMeo, Thomas Gallagher, Sofia Holzhauser, James Hernandez, Lindsay McCoy, and Kiernan Urso for Mixed Chorus; and McKenna Fenimore and Maren Taylor for Women’s Chorus.

To be selected, eleventh and twelfth-grade students must score among the top NYSSMA musicians in Suffolk County. Students were chosen for All-County based on their proficiency scores achieved at the NYSSMA solo and ensemble festival held last spring and teacher recommendations.
